Counting is the only mathematics that turns blackjack positive, and it is a skill, not a secret. The system fits on a napkin; the work is speed. The trainer flashes cards at dealer pace and checks your running count at the end.
Add as the cards fall. A positive count means the shoe is rich in tens and aces: the player’s cards. Divide by decks remaining for the true count; bet more when it is high, less when it is not. That is the entire edge, and it only exists where a real shoe is dealt deep.
A full deck always balances to zero. If your count does not, you dropped a card somewhere; the trainer tells you by exactly how much.
